Travelling overseas may be undertaken due to different reasons like for studying, medical treatment, career, business or tourism.Foreign travel is seen from twelth house. In a horoscope, twelth house shows separation from birth place. Malefic influences on twelth house makes a person wander to a foreign place.
The first and foremost house to be considered is the lagan/ascendant house. If the first (lagna) house lord is not well placed or weak or is influenced by bad planet, then the chances are low but the opposite of this provide good results. But this is not the only house to consider.
The second house to be considered is the twelfth house. Twelfth house represent foreign settlement, money from foreign countries and comforts obtained in foreign country. If twelfth house is strong ( A house gets strong if lord of twelfth house is sitting in kendar or trikon , either in his own house, friend house or is Exalted, or twelfth house is seen by good planets ) then the ascendant is having strong chances of settling abroad.
The next house to be considered is the fourth house which is the house of happiness from own land and mother. Strong fourth house makes the chances of going abroad very less because you are getting all the happiness from your own house or native land. But on the other hand weak fourth house makes the chances of going abroad very strong.
The fourth consideration is ninth house. Ninth house represent Luck and Travel. If you travels, how fruitful the journey is? Is the Individual luck strong enough? This all is seen from ninth house. If ninth house is strong, then strong chances of travel are indicated.
